Randey Ng is a multidisciplinary artist based in Singapore. Dubbed the flatpicking editor, his current work practice stems in post-production as a video editor/colorist; with photography as an embodiment of his creative spirit and his roots deep in music as an aspiring bluegrass musician. In 2021, Randey lensed the short film Gone are the Moat and the Walls which made the official selection under the Panorama Short Film Programme at the 32nd Singapore International Film Festival. He also lensed another short film titled In Good Company which was a featured film of the month on Nowness Asia.
Randey is currently working on a long-form photography project titled The Philippines where he aims to document the lives of its people and to reconnect with his heritage.

Behind the scenes on set for Children’s Day – directed by Giselle Lin. Children’s Day made it’s world premiere at the 75th Berlinale in Feb 2025.
The Philippines is a long-form photo project that is currently in the making since April 2023. The idea first began after returning home to my motherland, 7 years since the last visit.
